Always looking for something new and creative to sew..sooooooooooo..that is when I head on over to Amazon to look at new books. I could open a library of my own with all the different books I have. Oh Welllllll…………….

Bend the Rules

Bend the Rules with Fabric: Fun Sewing Projects with Stencils, Stamps, Dye, Photo Transfers, Silk Screening, and More

Keeping your hands germ free!!!

For those of you who are visiting friends, family etc at the hospital this would be great to have on your purse or belt.

In fact, it would be good to use all the time, due to so many germs where ever we go throughout the day.

Thanks to Christie over at A Lemon Squeezy Home for a great tutorial.

I have been making some really cute purses, so I think I will make a couple of these to add to them……

Do you like free? Another hat!

I love it when I get lost in cyber space for hours and find something you weren’t even looking for. Although, I am all about hats, it is especially rewarding when you find someone willing to share their creations.

So a big hats off to ya Jill…great directions and a very cute hat. I plan on making a few of these myself to donate. I know you have suggested them for surgical hats but I think that they are stylish enough to give to chemo patients. Usually I can’t even remember how I end up at most places but this time I actually was able to back track where I had been. Lots of goodies there…….

Let them know that they are not alone!!!

I am always amazed at others creativity and willingness to give.

American Sewing Guild member, Deon Maas, a K-12 art teacher created the Anti-Ouch Pouch while she was recovering from a mastectomy.

What a great project. Gather your stitchin group, bring a few food goodies to eat have some good conversation and create these pain relieving pouches, which can be done in about 15 minutes.
